Our adaptation of A Christmas Carol is now finished. Hoorah! And much of the new music is complete. We are looking forward to starting rehearsals on 22nd November! In the meantime, rehearsals are under way for Lie Back and Think of America. The first two scenes of twelve have been worked through and enjoyed by all those involved. And for our vintage dress performance at Shrewsbury House of Lie Back and Think of America at Shrewsbury House on Friday 20th November, the front of house staff promise to welcome you in costume too. Licensed bar for all our events. We hope you can come on 20th November to Lie Back and Think of America and to A Christmas Carol on Saturdays 12th and 19th December all at 7.30pm.
It's a busy time for Front Room Theatre. We are rehearsing for a special one-off performance of 'Lie Back and Think of America' on Friday 20th November 7.30pm at Shrewsbury House Community Centre and writing is well under way for our production of 'A Christmas Carol', adapted by Natalie Wilcox from Charles Dickens' popular story also being shown at Shrewsbury House on 12th and 19th December. Maya Levy lends a hand as musical consultant and Jim Penn is returning as stage manager for both 'Lie Back and Think of America' and 'A Christmas Carol'. We look forward to entertaining the people of Plumstead, Shooters Hill and - who knows... maybe from father afield.... Tickets can be booked via the Ticket Source website, www.ticketsource.co.uk/frontroomtheatre or by phoning Front Room Theatre.
